چکیده

Methods are described for estimation of kinetic constants from the integrated rate equations for a number of reaction mechanisms. In general, these ( methods depend upon elimination of either zero order or fist order terms between rate curves determined at two initial substrate concentrations or more. This operation is followed by graphic or statistical evaluation of the kinetic constants in the simplified equation and substitution of these values back into the original rate equation to permit evaluation of the remaining kinetic constants.

Modeling of Reversible Chain Transfer Catalyzed Polymerization by Moment Equations Method

A moment equations method was performed to study the Reversible chain Transfer Catalyzed Polymerization (RTCP) of styrene in 80°C. To do this, a kinetic scheme containing conventional free radical polymerization reactions and equilibrium reactions of RTCP was assumed. After obtaining mass balance equations, three moment equations were defined for free and dormant radicals and dead chains. M...

Determination of Rapid-Equilibrium Kinetic Parameters of Ordered and Random Enzyme-Catalyzed Reaction A + B = P + Q

This article deals with the rapid-equilibrium kinetics of the forward and reverse reactions together for the ordered and random enzyme-catalyzed A+B=P+Q and emphasizes the importance of reporting the values of the full set of equilibrium constants. Equilibrium constants that are not in the rate equation can be calculated for random mechanisms using thermodynamic cycles. This treatment is based ...

Kinetic and microstructural studies of Cp2ZrCl2 and Cp2HfCl2-catalyzed oligomerization of higher α-olefins in mPAO oil base stocks production

Herein a quenched-flow kinetic technique was applied to calculate the rate constants of 1-hexene and 1-octene oligomerization catalyzed by the Cp2ZrCl2 and Cp2HfCl2/MAO catalyst systems, and subsequently a mechanism for the higher α-olefin oligomerization reaction was proposed. The oligomerization results showed that Zr-based catalyst in the oligomerization of 1-octene had the highest activity ...

The estimation of kinetic constants for the lactate dehydrogenase system by the use of integrated rate equations.

The use of the integrated rate expression for the estimation of kinetic parameters has been tested with the lactate dehydrogenase-catalyzed reduction of pyruvate by reduced nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide at various pH values. The results show good internal precision and the results of duplicate determinations indicate that the results can be replicated satisfactorily. The values of kinetic c...
